Nick Wyborn is an Australian emergency services, public safety, training, and mental health professional whose career has spanned policing, firefighting, emergency response, rescue, security, corrections, and frontline education.
Nick began his public safety career with the New South Wales Police Force, where he served as a police officer and later as an Operational Safety Instructor with the Weapons & Tactics Training Unit at the NSW Police Academy. His extensive training has taken him internationally, including to the United States, Canada, and Israel, where he pursued advanced education in officer safety, defensive tactics, active-shooter response, and tactical operations.
His career has also included service as an on-call firefighter with Fire + Rescue NSW, a correctional officer with Corrective Services NSW, an Emergency Services Officer, and a member of industrial emergency response teams. His operational experience encompasses firefighting, HAZMAT, medical response, road crash rescue, confined-space rescue, vertical and rope rescue, maritime rescue, and emergency management. He has also served as a volunteer with the NSW State Emergency Service.
Nick is the founder and lead trainer of **Safepoint Consulting** and the founder of **Frontline Collective**, an initiative focused on supporting veterans and first responders through mental health, wellness, fitness, training, and operational longevity.
